Do we have to deploy everything, or can we start with one layer?
You can deploy layer by layer. The three layers are independent yet integrated: start with the ordering system, add ERP for scheduling, then connect equipment. Existing systems integrate via standard API.
What file formats does prepress automation support?
Supports PDF, AI, EPS, TIFF and other common prepress formats, with PDF as the primary processing format — the system auto-detects and converts. Built-in rule templates for single pages, booklets, packaging and more, with custom rule support.
Should we choose DFE or AutoPrintBot?
Two forms of the same core. If you can work with the equipment manufacturer, go DFE — built into the machine, managing RIP, color, media and consumables end to end. If collaboration isn't feasible, go AutoPrintBot — installed outside the machine, connecting via JDF / JMF / IPP standard protocols, running without manufacturer involvement. Can it integrate with our existing ERP or e-commerce channels?
Yes. Order sources support integration with e-commerce, mini-programs and other channels — auto-parsed and preflighted before entering production. Prepress and ERP connect via standard API, with orders automatically triggering preflight and imposition. Existing systems can also connect just one layer.
